We are located in northern Michigan. Our dogs are our family and play a huge part in our daily lives. We have been breeding and showing dogs for over ten years and specifically involved with poodles for six of the ten.  While our children were growing up, we were involved in the breeding, showing and training of Morgan horses. This area of Michigan is just perfect for all types of animal activities.

Since we are located in northen Michigan, we must make adjustments for the weather.  Besides for our new building, we have covered runs with the sides covered during the winter for snow and wind.

Our breeding stock has received all the necessary genetic testing required for poodles in order to produce only healthy and happy puppies. These tests cover genetic disorders such as; Sebaceous Adenitis, VWD-Type 1, PRA, CERF, Neo-natalenchephalogy; and of course, hips. This testing helps to guarantee that our puppies grow up to be healthy individuals.

Our puppies are born in our home so they receive our undivided attention from their entry into this world. We share our bedroom with them from whelping to about 4 weeks of age.

Puppies go to both show and pet homes.  Health and attitude are an important part of our mission.  By selectively breeding, we create puppies which meet the poodle standard and miniature guidelines as set by the AKC.  All of our poodles are working certified therapy dogs. They have been tested for obedience and attitude to guarantee the best behavior when visiting schools, hospitals, nursing homes, etc.  When the National Guard in this area was recently called-up to leave for Iraq, our dog therapy group was asked to attend the going away party given by the community to support the families left behind.  I brought three of my therapy dogs by myself, and they behaved splendidly.  Each was a big hit with the families and their children.

We take it very seriously when selecting our dogs who we use in our breeding program.  One of Thor’s puppies is in a home being raised as service dog within the school district where he resides.

Our mission & passion is to produce well-bred puppies who exemplify the behaviors which will allow them to fit in perfectly with a variety of new families.  They are bred to have wonderful temperaments as well as good looks.  These puppies are socialized, and all have a strong desire to please their new owners.
